Load Based Auto Scaling

Thresholds for CPU, memory or load can be defined at which extra servers will be started.

The servers will be automatically configured like the rest of the stack and are usable within minutes.

Once the load spike is gone and your down-scaling thresholds are met, Scalarium will shutdown the additional machines.

Time Based Auto Scaling

Often application have a typical load curve: people are shopping more in the late afternoon or internal business application are idle during nights and weekends.

With time based auto scaling servers Scalarium can handle daily or seasonal peaks. Just define at what time of the day servers should be launched and stopped.
